Over the years, there has been a trend toward breeding German Shepherds away from their classic body style. This has been observed in both the German and North American show circuits; and, for a GSD lover like myself, represents a sad state of affairs in breeding and showing such a potentially magnificent animal.
Were it not for those of us who are enamored with the classic-build of the German Shepherd, the regal stature of this creature would be all but lost.

pet store or backyard breeder, Look at what your getting the Old Fashion Classic German Shepherd lines that made it a world famous breed, Here is a dog so changed others will be saying "Wow, that's a big beautiful guy! Can you tell me where you got him?" It's almost a given that in the long run, you'll pay a good deal more in vet bills and perhaps emotional bills (if the dog has to be euthanized due to a health or temperament problem), than you would from a Lane's House Of Shepherds pup.
